LIVING WITH THE JOHNSONS provides 'In Home' and 'Online Design' bespoke styling services, creating beautiful and functional spaces that are inspired by and reflective of your vision, taste and lifestyle. Our multi-tiered service is designed to fit all interior styling needs from a single room, adding styling touches to an already furnished space to transforming an entire home. We can also provide design services at planning, building and renovation stage. No job is too big or small with our many years of experience in building Boutique Residential homes and fitting our commercial spaces within our 'Sister' Building Company.
Working with Kate Johnson + her team, we will provide direction and guidance, refining your concept to create a unique and bespoke on-trend design. Our design plan can include colour scheme specification, wallpaper selection, feature lighting, interior styling, art + furniture selection and procurement. Dependant on the level of service you select, we include spatial planning through to executing the installation and completion of your newly styled space.
Our 'Online Design' service is perfect for those who live beyond our reach or prefer to take care of the installation themselves. We will provide you with the design plan, the list of furniture and styling accessories required and a comprehensive guide on how to complete your project.
IN HOME DESIGN PROCESS -
Consultation We will meet preferably onsite to discuss your vision for your space. After viewing your selected area, we will guide you through an in-depth questionnaire designed to get to know you and / or your family. Your likes / dislikes, preference in interior styles, favourite colour palettes and the function requirements of the space. We encourage you to bring along / or email some images, pinterest boards or items that will assist in gaining a clear understanding of your vision
Design We will create a design board with our selections for your space based on all the information we have gathered
Quotation and Sourcing Our team will curate all pricing and quotes (including trades where req) We will ensure the project meets your budget and arrange samples where required. Upon approval we will purchase all of your furniture, accessories and artwork
Delivery and Installation We will arrange the trades, where required to carry out works necessary prior to the furniture installation. Once the space is ready we will deliver and install your furniture and styling accessories, leaving you to enjoy your beautifully styled space with your family + friends
In Home Design Services from concept to installation/completion starts from $1200 per standard room/space. Discounts are available for multiple spaces. Trades + Products are additional. We will pass on discounts received for purchases made by us from our trade suppliers. This makes for an affordable way to use our professional 'In Home' styling services.
After something more casual? LIVING WITH THE JOHNSONS in home casual consultation services are great for clients that are looking for some advice to gain a clear direction. This leaves you to choose how in-depth you would like to go. Our casual consultation services are charged at $165 per hour, this includes meetings, research, travel, emails and phone calls for your project.
ONLINE DESIGN PROCESS
Live beyond our reach or looking for a diy project? We provide you with everything you need to create your new space yourself.
Consultation We will provide you with an in-depth questionnaire to gain a clear understanding of the function requirements of your space, your and/or your families likes & dislikes, style preferences etc. You will be asked to provide measurements and current images of your space. We encourage you to forward any images, pinterest boards that have aspects of style or design that appeal to you. This provides great insights to your vision.
Design We will curate a design board based on the information in your questionnaire and images supplied and present this to you via email. Changes can be made to refine your design plan if required.
Design Package Once your design is completed and approved by you, we will forward your final design board, guide with notes and spatial planning along with a list of furniture and accessories complete with supplier information.
You may select the option for us to purchase and arrange for all your furniture + accessories to be shipped directly to your door, just leaving you to install - Please contact us for a price on this option
'Online Design Service' starts at $800 per standard size room
We understand that as we are all individuals, our homes + spaces are also unique, if these options aren't quite fitting, let us know and we can tailor our services to suit. It might be that you have a have a particular budget in mind or looking for some finishing touches on your already furnished home.
At LIVING WITH THE JOHNSONS our goal is to make professional interior styling affordable by passing on the discounts from our trade and wholesale suppliers and getting your design and selections right the first time. We find many of our clients have wasted money on buying the wrong pieces, too small, too large, not the right colour or style etc. and they end up purchasing again later down the track because they just can't get past the wrong items. This always results in over spending often without achieving a cohesively styled home.
